A frequent complaint from some, new to NN (neural net) backgammon programs is "the program cheats". No, it does not cheat. If you are not convinced of this, try one of the NN programs (gnubg, jellyfish) that offer a "manual dice" feature. You will find that they win just as well you roll the dice or not. The perception that a skilled opponent is always incredibly lucky is a due to a combination of human nature..we remember our bad luck and forget the good rolls, and an ignorance of the subtle methods that experienced players use to maximize their chances.

When double clicking, especially on double pulls when out of house to put them back over the adverse pulls, it behaves very strange..

As others have noted when playing this game at higher levels the Ai has a statistically unlikely ability to throw the exact dice it needs to win a losing game. Try playing at the lower levels and this happens much less. I have read the developers response that states this is the natural outcome of the strategy that is employed at the higher levels, but nonetheless something here is not right. Playing this game is not an enjoyable experience when it feels like you have been beaten by a cheat.

What else can I say? There are awful issues while playing with FIBS, being unable to end a game properly. This app always loses pace with the FIBS server, as failing to refreshing the board with the actual game position forces you to stop, restart and then pray for the app to take you back to the game without any major problem. Disgusting.

This app is ludicrous,,,you will have to be the luckiest person in the world to win two games in a row..the rolls that the CPU gets are laughable...am having problems getting this one sided app off my device. Do not recommend.Rating -10

I live this version off the game. the levels the get very challenging. There is one problem though, once in a while it will get to a spot where it busy won't let me nice my pieces . I have perfectly legal moves but it won't allow me to make any of them The only way to get by this annoyance is to save the game, exit, and then reload it. Also it sometimes resigns what should be a gammon but it only counts as a single. When I am in the same situation it counts double.
